Welcome to the website of the Redemptorists of the Province of St. Clemens. Our community is part of the worldwide congregation (religious order) of the Redemptorists. This includes about 5000 members (brothers and priests) who live in more than eighty countries around the world. The Province of St. Clemens is the administrative unit for Northern Germany, Flanders, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
The calling and mission of the congregation are to explicitly and emphatically proclaim the Gospel as a community, nourished by the living presence of the Redeemer in their midst. Their primary target group is the poor and other people whom the Church does not usually reach. Surrounding the Redemptorists is the “Redemptorist family,” which lives from the same root and spirituality. This also includes religious women and lay groups.
